Meet Riverland Employee Stina Moran!

 

Stina is a Branch Manager at Riverland’s Jordan office. She was born in Oklahoma, and moved to southeast Minnesota in middle school. Stina was a stay-at-home mom for many years and worked part time in retail management, eventually switching to part-time banking. She had always dreamed about working “bankers’ hours,” since she spent a lot of long nights and weekends working in retail. Five years ago, Stina took the step toward that dream, and says that it’s been worth it! Read on to learn more about her professional and personal background.

Q: What do you like best about working at Riverland?

A: The people I work with and the friendly atmosphere that has been created.

Q: What do you like to do in your free time for fun?

A: I love live music, trivia, hanging out with friends and family, traveling, fly-fishing, and crocheting.

Q: What is your favorite book?

A: The Harry Potter series.

Q: In what ways are you involved in the community?

A: I am a member of the Jordaness Lions.

Q: What is your favorite quote?

A: My new favorite … “Don’t limit happy to an hour.” – Pinky Weber

Q: How do you positively contribute to customers’ experiences at Riverland?

A: I enjoy helping them and making them feel like they are a family member rather than a customer.

Q: What else would you like to share about yourself?

A: I have two adult children, Paige and Thurston. I have a dog named Pepper, who is a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon, and a grand-dog named Maisel, who is a Cowboy Corgi (a Cardigan Corgi/Blue Heeler mix). I’ve lived in Jordan for 22 years.
