Meet Riverland Employee Annie Ziegler!

Annie Ziegler headshotAnnie Ziegler is a Universal Banker at Riverland’s office in Jordan, Minnesota, where she also grew up. She attended South Central College in Mankato, where she graduated with an administrative degree. After college, she started working in casino finance, which she did for 20 years before moving into banking. After having moved away for a while, Annie got married, and she and her husband moved back home to Jordan to raise their family – they now have two teenage boys. She has now been working in banking for six years in a Universal Banker role, and we’re happy to have her on our team. Read on to learn more about Annie from her Q&A!

Q. What do you like best about working at Riverland?

A. I really enjoy working in the community I live in. I like that Riverland Bank is very involved in the community. I also have wonderful coworkers that make coming to work easy!

Q. What do you like to do in your free time for fun?

A. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I am also an avid reader – I will read one book a week on average, sometimes even more!

Q. What is your favorite book?

A. I could never just name one book as my favorite. I really enjoy any book that can grab my attention in the first chapter.

Q. In what ways are you involved in the community?

A. Over the years I have volunteered at numerous events for my son’s sports teams.

Q. What is a cause or topic you are passionate or curious about?

A. Animal rescue, and I would love to volunteer at a shelter when my children are grown up and I have more time. I will probably have to buy a bigger house, as I’m sure I’ll want to take all of the shelter animals home with me!

Q. How do you positively contribute to customers’ experience at Riverland?

A. Since I am the first point of contact for most of our customers, I strive to give them the best customer service I possibly can.
