Q. What do you like best about working at Riverland?

A. I really like the variety of work we do here; I love experiencing the day-to-day interactions with our customers. And of course, I enjoy my coworkers!

Q. What do you like to do in your free time for fun?

A. I love to garden and just about anything that will keep me outdoors in the summertime (I’m not much of a winter person). I spend a lot of time at the lake and with family and friends.

Q. What is your favorite book or movie?

A. I can’t really say I have a favorite, but I always enjoy a good thriller, drama, or comedy.

Q. In what ways are you involved in the community?

A. I was on the board of directors for the Scott County Agricultural Society/Scott County Fair for six years, and I still volunteer a lot of my time with them. I was also a troop co-leader for my son’s Boy Scout troop.

Q. What is a cause or topic you are passionate or curious about?

A. Dog/animal rescue! So many poor animals need good homes, and if I could I would save them all.

Q. What is your favorite quote?

A. “Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.”

Q. How do you positively contribute to customers’ experience at Riverland?

A. As a universal banker, we are the first point of contact for the customer. Every customer deserves to be treated fairly and with respect. If I can’t help a customer, I will find someone who can.

Q. What else would you like to share about yourself?

A. My husband and I will celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary next March! We have two grown children, five grand dogs, and two dogs of our own (all of which have been rescues).
