Q. What do you like best about working at Riverland?

A. I love the team here at Riverland, and everyone has been nothing short of amazing. Everyone is so helpful and welcoming. I feel almost like part of a small family. I really enjoy the small community feel, and I am excited to grow personally and professionally here.

Q. What do you like to do in your free time for fun?

A. So many things! I love to be outside and explore new places. I try to explore at least two national parks every year. I love cycling and hiking and have recently started to play golf for the first time. I enjoy an active lifestyle, and I don’t sit much. I love traveling, cooking, and enjoying fine wine with family and friends.

Q. What is your favorite movie? Book?

A. Some books that have really stuck out that I have read recently include “Where the Crawdads Sing” by Delia Owens and “Small Great Things” by Jodi Picoult. I feel both have influenced me on exploring different points of view from others, even if both books are fiction. I enjoy reading historical fiction because, even though it may not all be historically accurate, I am always learning little tidbits to take with me in real life.

Q. What is a cause or topic you are passionate or curious about?

A. I am passionate about health and wellness. I am always looking for ways to continue to stay healthy and live a long, healthy life in food choices and exercise. I am also passionate about doing what is right for the environment. It bothers me when people leave trash outside, especially if there is a garbage can less than five feet away! It also bothers me when people don’t recycle when it is readily available. It is such an easy, small thing to do to help with waste.

Q. What is your favorite quote?

A. I always liked the quote, “80% of success is showing up,” by Woody Allen. It motivates me to try new things even if I am scared. I always bring myself back to this quote as motivation to follow through.

Q. How do you positively contribute to customers’ experience at Riverland?

A. I have always had the belief that you should treat others how you would want to be treated, so I will bring that with me every day at Riverland!
