Jack Butwin’s company, JBS Apparel, is a neighbor of Riverland Bank in Northeast Minneapolis’ Fisk building. He’s been a business banking client of ours ever since we took up residency there in 2018. In business for 24 years, JBS is a wholesale clothing store that creates and sells items like high school letter jackets and other team sports apparel.
Jack planned to apply for a Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan when COVID-19 hit to protect his employees and his business, and he knew he could count on Riverland Bank.
“With the COVID-19 pandemic, I found out how important it is to have a good relationship with your bank,” Jack reported after finishing the PPP loan application. “Riverland Bank is so much more than a place to make deposits; it’s like finding a close friend and partner that helps you with solving problems and coming up with new ideas. Riverland was there to help me work through the entire PPP process. They were so helpful and answered all my questions, and they’ve made my business life a lot easier in general.”
We’re grateful to have had the opportunity to help Jack and many other business clients navigate the PPP process and continue building and strengthening relationships with local businesses like JBS.
